We've been having a vibrant season at the garden! The garden has been full of broccoli, kale, cabbage, mustard greens, radishes, turnips, beets, swiss chard, peas, lettuces, and herbs. (Which, by the way, as a volunteer you can take some home as a reward!) Our compost piles are doing great and a number of new projects are underway.
Springtime? Our fig tree says so.
As always, we encourage anyone to propose and pursue a project that would benefit the garden! This can be anything, from engineering, to art, to structure, to media, to communications. The garden is a unique place on campus, in that the space is entirely created and evolved by its users.
We are happy to hear ideas! Email us at
gardening@utenvironment.org and/or stop by at one of our workdays (listed on the right) to start the conversation.
