Hey everybody!
Because it gets dark so early now, we are going to change workdays a bit--starting this week!
Our "official" facilitated workdays will now be on Sundays, from 9:30 AM-12:30 PM.
Currently, we are focusing on constructing a greenhouse made from reclaimed plastic water bottles, in collaboration with Engineers For A Sustainable World (Speaking of which, IF YOU DRINK BOTTLED WATER, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONATE YOUR USED BOTTLES TO THE GARDEN FOR THIS PROJECT).
Of course, there are other ongoing tasks for volunteers to do as well, such as the sometimes dreaded (but always tranquil) weed/grass removal of the pathways, and even some last-minute planting that can be done! We hope you will join us!
If this change in our workday times does not work well for you, feel free to come by and work on your plot or the community area anytime you want, regardless. The garden gate is always open!!
