native plant garden

This past Wednesday we added tumbled glass mulch to our native plant garden. It looks beautiful, especially when it's sparkling in the sun.

UT Gardening Committee

The University of Texas Gardening Committee is a committee of the UT Campus Environmental Center and is entirely student-run. We've started and continue to manage UT's community garden as well as the UT Micro Farm, host informative workshops and social events throughout the school year, organize tree plantings and landscaping events around campus, and are helping to construct the University's Green Fee-funded Microfarm.

SUMMER WORKDAYS

Sundays, 8:30-11:00 AM

Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 PM

If you ever get the urge to dig in and help out in the garden but these set times do not work for you, remember that the garden gate is always open!

Feel free to stop by anytime to check out the garden and/or help with the tasks at hand.

The community garden is located at 2108 Concho St. and is easily accessible by the East Campus shuttle, Monday-Friday during the semester.
